So, with the state of the current economy and that fact that I am often on the computer with nothing to do, I have found a new hobby, entering sweeps or sweepstakes.
It all began a few months back when I accidentally won $50 from Rewardtv. I had found the site and began playing some of there TV trivia games. Next thing I know, I get an email to claim my $50 prize from their weekly drawing. Wow! I didn't even realize that I had entered or that I could ever possibly win!
All I could think is I never win anything, then it hit me, that is because I never enter anything! So, after receiving (and cashing) my $50. check (I never believe anything at first!), I decided that if I try to enter a few sweepstakes here and there, you never know, maybe I could win something else. Hey, it kills time on line and is so easy to do. Next thing I know, I receive movie tickets, four tickets to a Regal Cinema. Wow, then I receive a DVD in the mail.
OK, so there is definitely something to entering contests. I know that there are people that devote hours per day entering these contests. I am not yet to that point. I pick the ones that seriously interest me.
